Tyson Beauchamp

Title: Sr. Vice President, Business Development

Tyson was born in Champaign, Illinois. Tyson grew up as a central Illinois farm boy and went on to play collegiate football and golf at Illinois College. He then parted ways with the small farm town life and moved to Chicago where he now lives with his family. Tyson has over a decade of experience in the legal funding industry and is passionate about providing financial support to plaintiffs who are in need, as well as providing excellent service to law firms across the country.

Approach to Business: Understanding the value of each client no matter the value of the case is essential for an attorney to grow and maintain their practice.  Knowing that this is important to all attorneys, when they place their trust in us and refer one of their clients for funding, we make it our primary focus to provide efficient and quality service to all their clients - and make the referring attorney look like a rock star in the process.

Steven Cohen, Esq.

Title: VP, Business Development

Prior to joining Signal in 2017, Steve spent most of his years living and working in New York City practicing personal injury law for over 18 years. He attended Syracuse University and then obtained his Law degree at Touro law school. His skillset enables him to balance the interests of both the plaintiff and their lawyer when it comes to funding.

Steve brings a unique perspective on funding having represented many clients that sought funding over the years and knows first-hand the financial devastation that an accident can have on a person and the benefits of funding. Steve equally understands the challenges that attorneys face with funding and is committed to making the process as simple as possible.

Approach to Business: Attorneys must feel that their funding company is willing to work with them every step of the way and make the process as simple as possible. His goal is to work with the attorney to make sure the client’s needs are met, but in no way jeopardizing the attorneys ability to settle a case.

Trevor Scott

Title: VP, Business Development

Trevor was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Atlanta, GA where he played and coached collegiate baseball at Illinois College. Trevor has spent almost a decade of his sales career in the Chicagoland area, working directly with attorneys and law firms across the nation offering critical financial help to their clients - as well as serving to improve their settlement values.

Approach to Business:  Trevor is driven to provide the “path of least resistance” to his clients – that being the attorney and law firm, as well as their plaintiff. He is empathetic to both parties needs for the short term, with a clear understanding that the long term goal is a fair and reasonable settlement that benefits all parties involved.

Jenny Barrera

Title: Business Development Associate

Jenny was born and raised in Miami, FL. She Graduated from Keiser University with a bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and was a former NFL Cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins for two years. In her free time she loves to go to the beach, fishing, travel, the gym and kayaking. 

Approach to Business: Make strong connections, get to know people. Trust in references and network from every possible node.

Nichole Odorico

Title: Business Development Associate

Nichole was born and raised in Fresno, California where she attended primary and secondary school. She later went on to attend the University of Phoenix, majoring in business communication and a minor in marketing. With over eight years of sales experience under her belt she is undoubtedly hard working, ambitious, and career oriented. 

Approach to Business: Driven in diligently assisting attorneys and their clients with absolute professionalism during their times of financial hardships.
